Unusual Winter Weather Sets the Stage for a spectacular day of dressage at the Young Dressage Association Inc. July Official Competition
The Young Dressage Association Inc. recently hosted its highly anticipated July Official Competition, and even Mother Nature seemed determined to make this event a memorable one. Breaking away from the typical winter gloom and doom, the weather gods blessed the riders with a glorious, Spring-like day that added an extra dash of charm to the competition.
Over 60 talented riders from across the state gathered at the prestigious event, demonstrating their exceptional skills and passion for dressage. The Young Dressage Association Inc. has long been celebrated for its commitment to fostering a vibrant dressage community, and this competition was a testament to their tireless efforts.
One standout performance of the day came from Josephine Laver and her remarkable horse, Saturno. Oozing with elegance and precision, the duo captured the audience's attention as they effortlessly glided through the Preparatory 2 test. Josephine's impeccable riding skills combined with Saturno's natural grace earned them the well-deserved YDA Members Highest % award.
