A Hot Weekend of Jumping in Shepparton

The Northern Victorian Showjumping Club (NVSJC), based at Shepparton, held their FEI World Cup Festival over the weekend. In conditions which certainly kept the sellers of cold beverages busy, three great days of jumping were held over two arenas with plenty of action to keep jumping enthusiasts satisfied.

David Sheppard built courses which provided great entertainment over the course of the show, which attracted competitors from far and wide, in search of the prize money on offer.

The feature class of the weekend was the Southern Cross Event Hire World Cup Qualifier, the thirty-fifth time that the NVSJC has held this event, which was the first leg of the scheduled 10-leg Australian season. It was an exciting class, which had the crowd seeking shade on the hill enthralled right up until the last fence had been cleared. For our full story on Saturdays World Cup class please click HERE.
