Adrienne Lyle Rides Salvino to Wellington World Cup Grand Prix Victory Midway to Earningh Invite to Omaha Final

WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 12, 2023–Adrienne Lyle rode her Olympic and World Games team silver medal mount Salvino to a mistake-free performance to win the Grand Prix Thursday and the midway point in qualifying for the championship Final in Omaha in April.

Adrienne of Wellington and the 16-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 77.500% for the victory a month after sweeping the first of three qualifiers required to be selected for Omaha.

The Grand Prix Freestyle to decide points for the World Cup will be staged at Global Friday night. The Freestyle will be streamed on WellingtonInternational.com

Adrienne and Salvino have competed in only one other World Cup Final, at Gothenburg, Sweden in 2019.

Sarah Tubman, also based in Wellington and her 2019 Pan American Games gold medal mount First Apple, 12-year-old KWPN stallion, placed second on 70.500%.
