Dorothee Schneider & Showtime Confirmed as World No. 3, Isabell & Bella Rose 1st, Weihegold 2nd

Dorothee Schneider and Showtime FRH were confirmed Tuesday as the new No. 3 in the world at the end of August, up from 20th the previous month behind European Championship team mate and triple gold medalist Isabell Werth on Bella Rose at No. 1 and Weihegold OLD in second.

Denmark’s Cathrine Dufour on Cassidy leapefrogged to eighth in the world from 71st at the end of July while Edward Gal of the Netherlands on Glock’s Zonik leaped to 12th from 85th, both based on results at the continental championships in Rotterdam, according to the latest International Equestrian Federation (FEI) standings released Tuesday. Isabell and Bella Rose, European team, individual and freestyle gold medalists, topped the rankings for the second month after posting 18 straight victories since returning 14 months ago from a 3 1/2-year absence from competition.

Americans Laura Graves on Verdades was moved back one spot to No. 4 while their 2016 Olympic bronze medal and 2018 World Equestrian Games team mate Kasey Perry Glass on Dublet dropped to No. 10.

Neither of the top two American partnerships have competed since the World Cup Final five months ago.
