London International Hors Show Live Zone Returns with a Packed-Out Week of Activity, Including Top Rider Interviews, Meet & Greets and Live Demos

London International Horse Show returns to ExCel London from 13–18 December and will once again feature its celebrated Live Zone, this year with even more action than ever before. The hugely popular Live Zone presents fans with the exciting opportunity to meet and interact with their favourite equestrian influencers and riders, watch equestrian TV programmes being made, and get involved with demos and activities.

Highlights of the week include daily interviews with top riders competing at the show – which previously have featured stars such as London International Horse Show Ambassadors Lottie Fry, Harry Charles and Jodie Hall McAteer. Taking place between the Afternoon and Evening performances each day, the Rider Spotlight sessions ask your favourite competitors all about their secrets to success – and catch their reactions to all the drama of the competition at the London International.

Meet & Greet opportunities are abound at the London International, with daily opportunities to meet your heroes – from both social media and in real life! On Thursday, TikTok star and youth rider Alanna Clarke kicks off the week with a dressage-focused hour which will see her joined on the Live Zone by the great and good of the sport.

This Esme, one of the world’s most popular equestrian influencers with an impressive 325,000 followers on Instagram and 900,000 on YouTube, will be appearing at the Live Zone from 17:00 on Friday 15 December and Monday 18 December.

Show Ambassador Esme, who has attended the London International since a young age said: "One of the absolute highlights of my horsey year is the trip before Christmas to the London International Horse Show. I’ve been every year since I was 9 years old. For the last 5 years I’ve been lucky enough to meet loads of show visitors in the Live Zone and it’s something I look forward to each year. I hope to see everyone soon at this years show which looks to be bigger and better than ever!"

Harlow Luna White has been invited to the London International by two brands she works very closely with. She will be holding Meet & Greets on Saturday 16 December at 10:30, hosted by Aztec Diamond, and on Sunday 17 December at 10:30 hosted by Pony Magazine. Megan Elphick, of Elphick Event Ponies, will also be appearing on the Live Zone on both Saturday 16 December at 17:30 and on Sunday 17 December at 14:30. It’s a busy show for Megan as she also stars in ‘The LeMieux Grassroots to Glory Masterclass’ in the New Horizon Plastics London Arena with Laura Collett and Richard Waygood.

The Show’s streaming provider, Horse & Country, will be filming on the Live Zone, including a special new episode of Lights, Camera, Atkinson – starring LeMieux Masterclass participant Ben Atkinson - on Monday 18 December.

For the Show’s fashion-lovers, a daily Best Dressed competition will take place on the Live Zone at 16:30 each day, supported by Fairfax & Favor. Sharp-eyed representatives will be scouting out the best outfits in the Shopping Village throughout the day and will be shortlisting those particularly well-dressed visitors through to a final live competition! All shortlisted visitors who make their way to the Live Zone will receive a goody bag, and one lucky – and very stylish – winner will be crowned that day’s Best Dressed.

Racing aficionados will enjoy plenty of excitement, as Great British Racing will be holding talks daily from Friday to Monday. Throughout the week they’ll be bringing along jockeys, trainers and racing heroes to look at every aspect of the sport, presenting topics from careers in racing, jockey training, stories of success and – of course the all-important welfare of racehorses in Britain. Elsewhere, a daily visit from the Defender Shetland Pony Grand National will present racing fans a unique chance to meet with their pint-sized heroes up close.

Other displays will also take a turn on the Live Zone, with the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, which returns to the Show for the first time since 2008, being a particular highlight. Personnel participating in their famous Musical Drive, will be on stage to give visitors an insight into life in His Majesty’s Mounted Ceremonial Battery.

The Pony Club join the Live Zone for the first time this year with The Pony Club – LIVE! Bringing Pony Club Camp to the Live Zone, this interactive and educational demo is perfect for learning a little more about horsemanship. It offers fun Pony Club challenges for younger visitors including hobby horse competitions, Pony Racing and Endurance challenges, and introductions to the disciplines of Mounted Games, Polo, Polocrosse and Tetrathlon.

The Live Zone is also a space for the most exciting stands in the Shopping Village to host ambassadors, demos and meet-ups. Among brands starring on the Live Zone will be Equitex – makers of cutting-edge saddle pads – who will be taking part in two sessions with top riders. International 5* eventer and showjumper Gemma Stevens will be appearing on Sunday at 18:00, while influencer and horse trainer Miri Hackett will be hosted by the brand on Friday at 15:00.

The packed Live Zone timetable is available here. Please note, timings are subject to change, and some activities require ticketing.
