Anticipation is running high as the rider list is announced the for Longines Global Champions Tour - Longines Paris Eiffel Jumping, marking the 8th round of the Championship race. In this enchanting city, the world’s top riders prepare to face off raising the stakes even further.

Paris will witness a remarkable sport and entertainment, offering an unparalleled experience that blends show jumping, social engagement, and cultural splendor. Against the magnificent backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, one of the globe's most iconic landmarks, a multitude of magnificent horses will grace the event, ensuring an unforgettable spectacle.

With overall ranking leader Maikel van der Vleuten and second place Malin Bayard-Johnsson not at Paris this week Christian Kukuk will be aiming to leapfrog into the lead. Just 11 points behind Kukuk, Simon Delestre will have the home advantage to try and gain his ticket the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix in Prague later this year. Last year’s LGCT Grand Prix of Paris winner Marlon Zanotelli is back to defend his title and see if he can make it back-to-back wins.

Ready to kick-star their championship campaigns and all looking for a big points haul in the iconic city are Edwina Tops-Alexander, Daniel Deusser, Christian Ahlmann, Gregory Wathelet, Jessica Springsteen, Ben Maher, Ludger Beerbaum, John Whitaker, Nicola Philippaerts, Spencer Smith, Philipp Weishaupt, and Scott Brash.

Young talent is out in full force this week as the likes of Jodie Hall-Macateer, Ingrid Gjelsten, Mike Kawai, Isabella Russekoff, Thibault Spitz and Harry Charles all vying for their chance at a podium position.

One of the most visited cities in the world, Paris is brimming with famous attractions and landmarks. Spectators can enjoy world-class show jumping in the heart of the ‘International City of Style’, against one of the most recognisable landmarks in the world. Over 50,000 visitors are expected to attend what's become a meeting place for horse lovers and socialites around the world.

The local heroes will be out in full force this weekend as top French riders include names such as Edward Levy, Penelope Leprevost, Julien Anquetin, Julien Epaillard, Roger-Yves Bost, Nina Mallevaey and Alexa Ferrer.
