New Zealand's Sharn Wordley & Gatsby land the $20,000 C. Jarvis Insurance Welcome Prix win.

Ocala, FL – Week III’s feature class action of the World Equestrian Center – Ocala 2022 Winter Spectacular Show Series kicked off this afternoon with the $20,000 C. Jarvis Insurance Welcome Prix. FEI Level III course designer Anderson Lima (BRA) created the challenging tracks that saw seven entries produce fault-free first rounds. Ultimately Sharn Wordley and his own Gatsby (Simba x Daisy Cruise) were the pair that ran away with the win in today’s class.

Wordley and Gatsby have won numerous World Equestrian Center – Ocala Grands Prix. “This will be my fifth year with Gatsby. I have known the horse since he was young. My great friends Andrew and Richard Bourns purchased him a long time ago. I watched the horse win the Quebec Original World Cup qualifying event at the Bromont Olympic Equestrian Park with Andrew. He has always been an amazing horse.”
