Nominations are now open for the 2019 Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action Competition

The 2019 Royal Melbourne Show Horses in Action competition features an all new timetable, improved scheduling and the chance to share in over $110,000 of cash and prizes.

Held over the 11 days of the Royal Melbourne Show, the Horses in Action competition attracts over 2000 entries and 350 exhibitors.

Royal Melbourne Show favourite, the prestigious Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout will take pride of place in its 85th year celebration. Horses and riders are judged on conformation and soundness, manners and paces, saddlery, costume, riding ability and general appearance.

An exciting addition to the program will see the FEI World Cup Class run as a Minimum Eligibility Requirement (MER). This offers riders the opportunity to qualify with their MER to be selected for the Tokyo Olympics in July 2020.

All exhibitors are encouraged to visit our website and review the exciting competition highlights, important information and the new timetable listed in the schedule.

This exciting program will bring out the nation’s best riders all competing for the prestigious Royal Melbourne Show blue ribbon.

Nominate now to be part of the action this September!
