Tamworth World Cup Show a great success

The North and Northwest Showjumping Club, based in Tamworth, conducted their four-day world cup show at AELEC last weekend. The highlight of the weekend was the Carmyle Vet World Cup Qualifier which was conducted in the indoor arena on Saturday evening in front of an impressive crowd. The Hunted Gourmet sponsored the Bronze Tour competition. After winning Thursday’s first qualifier, the win in Sunday’s final went to Robert Freeman and ES Canada in a fine double clear performance.

In a parallel performance in the Destination Tamworth Silver Tour, winners of the first qualifier, Tom McDermott and Alpha Activity, went on to take Sunday’s final. McDermott beat himself and Cachassini II into second place in the final, with the only two double clear performances of the class.
