Young Stars steal the show at Tasmanian Titles

The 2023 Jumping Tasmania State Titles were held last weekend (27th and 28th of January). Hosted by Jumping Tasmania South, they were held at the Tasmanian Equestrian Centre, located at Lauderdale, just across the Derwent River East of Hobart.

It was an action packed two days with the Sunday choc-full of Championship action. The show was dominated by a few riders who went home with most of the spoils from the weekend. Without doubt, one of the stars of the show was Hobart based teenager Chloe Daun. Chloe, who has competed in Eventing at the Melbourne 3DE in the two-star class, won almost half of the 23 classes competed for over the two days. On Saturday, she won four classes, taking out open 0.90m and 1.00m classes with PEC Willunga Royal Castana, followed by another pair of wins at 1.20m and 1.30m with PEC Rambling Rose.
