Australian International 3 Day Event 2010

New Zealand rider, John Twomey did not have the best of luck during the dressage phase with his Inaminca gelding, 'Flaunt it'. The temporary, gusty conditions unsettled the horse that did not produce his best for 71.20 and 17th place.

1999 Adelaide Three Day Event winner, Natalie Blundell fine tuned her 2010 Adelaide preparation with 'Algebra' by jumping at the National Showjumping Championships at Canberra. They earned 57.20 in the first phase of the Four Star competition.

Stuart Tinney produced a good test with Sarah Ingham's 'Watermark Grayson' to be third in the Equestrian Australia Four Star Competition after the dressage phase on 56.70.

Wendy Schaeffer is really back in business and is pictured with the second of her two CCI Four Star rides, 'Koyuna Sun Shine' , another by Brilliant Invader, that is in seventh place with 59.20.

And the best was kept until last. Heath Ryan won the Sydney CCI Three Star event in August with his Richmeed Medallion gelding, 'Mystery Whisper', and he got his Adelaide campaign off to a great start by winning the dressage phase with 42.30, ten penalty points ahead of his nearest rival.

Wendy is pictured riding her own and Di Schaeffer's successful Four Star Horse, Koyuna Sun Dancer, by Brilliant Invader. They earned 56.80 in the first phase of the Three Day Even for provisional fourth placet.

A suave looking Will Enzinger looks as if he is about to head to The Ritz for dinner. However the popular and successful Victorian rider is pictured riding Emily Anker and Vanessa Hawkins' ESB Irish Enough gelding, 'ESB Irish Endeavour' in the dressage phase of the Equestrian Australia CCI Four Star competition. They finished with a score of 63.70.

A busy Stuart Tinney is pictured during the Bates Australia CIC** dressage phase riding Olivia Bunn's Voltaire II (as Vettori) gelding, 'GV Anzac'. They earned 65.30.
