International All Welsh Show

A busy and successful Stephen Renton led Stacey Renton's. 'primrose Park St David' (Mariana Lodge Eltiyan/Primrose Park Super Sally) was declared Junior Champion Section C and Champion C Male.

Visitor from Wales, Thomas Jones led Rebecca and Taylah Lee's, 'Cataraqui Hasufel' (Nattai Sprig/ C. Arielle) to win the class for Welsh Section C Stallion Eight Years and Over.

What an amazing show. Ash Porter could just about walk on water today. He is pictured with his, 'Meithrin Amazing Grace' (Cataraqui Hasufel/Bookra Maggie May) that was declared Champion Section C Female and Supreme Section C.

It was a very long day at the International Welsh Show today running from 8am until 10pm, but the large and attentive spectators sat with their catalogues open and their pens poised all day. There are estimated to be at least 50 visitors from the UK.

Daniel Harvey is pictured with E, C and J Murphy's, 'Keyi Condoleezza' (Waxwing Peru imp UK/K Consuela) that won the Section B Two Year Old Fikky classa and went on tpo be declared Champion Junior Welsh Pony.

Adding a real international flavour to the International Welsh Show, Richard Miller led the Heniarth Stud UK bred and owned, 'Heniarth Va Va Voom' (Tooravale Houston ex UK/Weston Park Vanilla) to second place in the class for Section B Stallion Four and Under Eight years..

Lauren King's, 'Kings Town I'm A Prince' (Horrowclough Talisman/Kings Town Cassie) won the class for Section D Stallion Four Years and Under Eight Years.

Mark Brown is pictured with his winning Section D Foal, 'Indi Bonny Jones' (Indo Brynmore Jones/I. Bridget Jones).

Lauren King's typey, 'Kings Town I'm A Little Lady' (Harrowclough Talisman Fronarth Flashy Lady) was declared Reserve Champion Welsh Section D Female.

Stephen Renton led the Howe Family's, 'Nawarrah Park INXS' (Llanarth Cardiff Arms/Trapalanda Downs Imagene) to win the Stallion Eight Years and Over class and go on to be declared Champion Section D Male.

Blair Farley's, 'Salient Park Jayne Rees' (Penybrenin Hughburt imp UK/Cwmkaren Brenhindref) was declared Junior Champion Welsh Cob, Champion Female and Supreme Champion Section D.

Salima Keswani all the way from the UK did the honours with her, 'Amilas Pendragon' (Sunwillow Jubilee AI UK/Madison Park Patience) to win the class for Yearling Section A Colt and go on to claim the Reserve Champion Junior Welsh Mountain Pony award.

Reece Lawson did the honours with Simone Padoin's, 'Wynara Signature' (Copyright/Wynara Simply Irresistable) that was declared Champion Junior Part Welsh Exhibit.

To say that Ashley and Scarlett Porter had an outstanding show is an understatement. Amongst the many awards collected, Ash is pictured on his way to victory in the class for Two Year Old WMP Filly with, 'Vanoca Park Peekaboo Book' (Dalgangle Griffin/V.P. Picture Book).

Daniel Harvey did the honours for the Howe Family with a pony he bred and took out the class for Three Year Old WMP Colt with, 'Eagle Park Vance' (Brynradyn Bonheddwr imp UK/ Imperial Veronika).

Another busy visitor from the UK, Katie Parry, is pictured on her way to victory in the class for Three Year Old WMP Filly with the Elargee Stud nomination, 'Elargee Triplicate' (Flydon Llwy Bren imp UK/E. Triple Treat).

Michael Gates led Mark Bullen's, 'Imperial Vermont' (Imperial becharmed/Imperial Vienna) to win the class for Two Year Old WMP Colt.

Legendary Welsh Mountain Pony man, Gary Le Brocq won the class for WMP Stallion Four and Under Eight Years with his owned and bred, 'Torlyn Sprite' by Supreme WMP, Vanoca Park Lady-Smith out of Torlyn Springtime.

Caroline Parker led Rosemary Parker's, 'Cheraton Caesar' (C True Blue/C. Royal Symphony) to claim the Champion Part Welsh Over 13.2hh award. Caroline is pictured with international Judges, L-R Ad Beekman NL. and Kevin Walker UK.

She was beaten to Supreme by her son; a tad ungrateful don't you think?

Very successful Harness exhibitor and driver, Kerry Barlow drove her own, Yvonne and Warren Barlow's, 'Nagero Harmony' (Nagero Phoenix/Nattai Hafwen) to claim the International Champion Harness Exhibit award.

Gary Le Brocq did the honours with Christina Taylor's, 'Nattai River Shining Light' (Nattai Calypso/N. Luminous) to win the claa for WMP Broodmare Eight Years and Over.

Katie Parry is pictured on the run with Luke Dawes' winning WMPBroodmare Four and Under Eight Years, 'Pant-Y-Ffynon Cariad' (Llangollen Top Notch/Imperial Caprice).

Michael Gates led Daniel Harvey's, 'Imperial Nevada' (Imperial Lookout/Imperial Nell) to claim the Reserve Supreme WMP Male award.

An always busy Daniel Harvey claimed the Junior Champion Welsh Mountain Pony award with his Yearling Filly, 'Eagle Park Venus' (Imperial Baledur/Imperial Veronika) and went on to take out the Reserve Champion Welsh Mountain Female award.

Michael Gates led Lucy Hocking's, Bamborough Archimedes' (Thistledown Wicked imp/Cottrell Arabella imp) to claim the Junior Gelding Championship and go on to be declared International Reserve Supreme Junior Gelding.

Tara D'Hondt's, Elvonara Park Wannabe Famous' (Owendale Page Boy/Antrim Anastasia) was declared Champion B Gelding and Reserve International Supreme Senior Gelding.

Jenni Cesnik's, 'Kylandee Katerina' (K. Carbine/Derwyn Kayla) won the Broodmare Four and Under Eight class and went on to be declared Champion Welsh Section B Female.

Jeffrey Marks led Wendy Trimble's, 'Tooravale Pryderi' (Heniarth Woodwind (WSB)/T. Rhiannon) to win the class for Section B Stallion Four and Under Eight Years and went on to be declared Reserve Champion Section B Male.

Mark Bullen's, 'Imperial Pavarotti' (Eyarth Tigra imp UK/Imperial Picture Show) may be in his early teens, but he still has what it takes to win a Championship. Shown by Daniel Harvey, Pararotti won the class for Section B Stallion Eight Years and Over and went on to be declared Champion Section B Male.

Ashley Porter's, 'Vanoca Park Amity' by Heniarth Whistle Down The Wind imp UK/ Meithirin Amazing Grace won the class for Section C Foal and went on to be declared International Supreme Champion Foal.

Scarlet Porter is pictured on the move with her own and husband Ash Porter's outstanding, 'Vanoca Park Lady-Smith' (Llanfairbryn Goldrush/Nattai Dark Lady) that won the class for WMP Stallion Eight years and Over, was declared Champion Stallion, Champion Welsh Mountain Male and International Supreme Champion Welsh Mountain Pony. The beautiful stallion went on to claim the award for International Best Welsh Exhibit of the Show.
