Monique Barrett from Penrith and her 'Snowy River Ginger Meggs' in classic and typical pose on their way to win the Junior Grand Prix this morning. With a win and two third placings Monique also took out the Helen Rose Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Champion Junior Girl Rider.

Tom Sedger from Postmans Ridge in Queensland had a great show. With two wins and two third placings, including third place in the Junior Grand Prix, Tom rode his' LL Gift' to be awarded the Maurice Gordon Memorial Perpetual Trophy for Champion Junior Boy Rider.

In the eight year history of the JWEP Young Jumping Horse of the Show, (for horses eight years and under) this year was the first time it went to the winner of the prestigious EFA Cup and second placegetter in the World Cup. In fact it was the double World Cup Points that got the eight year-old 'Ashleigh Drossel Dan' across the line. Laurie Lever and Colin Gronn's big grey by Drosselklang II (frozen semen) won the award with 26 points, ahead of th Brook/Carcary and Lang-McMahon nomination, 'PB Poets Corner' on 21 and Clive Reed on 15 with his Silky Baby mare,'Kinnordy Serena'.
