What a show! Jamie Winning was declared Champion Young Rider yesterday,  and this morning was second in the Section 3 and fourth in the Mini Prix riding her  'Yandoo Vangelo'. The super, imported Alcatraz gelding  had a great show and was declared Champion Section 3 Horse.

Vicki Roycroft was in sensational form on the last day of Sydney Royal showjumping. Her victory in the Kevin Bourke memorial Mini Prix aboard 'Eliza Jane' was remarkable for a few reasons, not the least being that Vicki was probably the only rider in the jump off that had actually competed against Kevin.

Adam Mellers and the impressive stallion, 'Animate' by Animo won the Olympic MES class last Sunday. Both Adam and the stallion show their determination jumping clear in the first round of the World Cup Qualifier this afternoon.. This combination went on to win the class with the fast clear in the second round.

Queensland rider, Merrick Ubank and 'Dover Street' earned an Olympic MES last Sunday and just rolled the middle of the treble in the first round of the World Cup this afternoon. Dover Street is the only Thoroughbred in the class.

Peter McMahon and 'KS Genoa' in classic form during their clear first round in the World Cup Qualifier. Members of the 2006 WEG team, Peter and Genoa earned an Olympic MES last Sunday. Four faults in the second round placed this combination fourth.

Becky Allen, the only Victorian rider in the World Cup Qualifier and the Brilliant Invader gelding, 'Koyuna Ted', make a big effort over the first fence.  Ted jumped well finishing the first round with one down and one, maybe costly time penalty. Becky and 'Ted" jumped well in the second round for just four faults and seventh place.
