The not quite so Grand Parade. The dogs stood in for the horses , but it was not quite the same. The showjumpers have been at the show since the 20th and leave after the competition tomorrow. On Friday the hacks etc start and it is to be hoped the next Grand Parade will benefit greatly by their presence.

Talk about good training! Mark Palmer's 'Palmer Supurb' slipped during the run and disloged its rider. However, the horse got to it's feet and continued the run , alone and put the beast through the final gate.

Down, but not out of the competition. Warwick Lawrence had a great competition until the final run of the World Championship Campdraft this afternoon. Warwick parted company with Hugh Miles' 'Conductor' during the final run. However the cut out score was enough to keep them in the lead to win the overall Championship.
