All Dressage Horses that Competed at Doha, Qatar CDI5* Blocked from Competing Until Cleared by Test as More Horses in Europe Die From Equine Herpes Virus

The International Equestrian Federation (FEI) reports that all dressage and para dressage horses that competed at the CDI5* in Doha, Qatar last month had been blocked because of two positive Equine Herpes Virus tests in jumping horses that participated in the same event.

The dressage and para dressage horses flew back separately from the jumping horses, the FEI said, and none are known to have been infected.

But a negative PCR test will have to be provided before the horses are unblocked in the FEI Database.
