Arkins aces Nowra Grand Prix

Two days of wonderfully competitive jumping were conducted at the Nowra Showground over the weekend. While most of the Nowra Agricultural Show had to be postponed due to COVID-19 concerns, fortunately for the Jumping community on the NSW South Coast, the Jumping program was able to proceed under strict hygiene protocols.

After a wet Saturday, conditions on Sunday were much improved and the feature class of the weekend was held under bright blue skies with a cooling breeze that did not affect the competition, but kept the small band of spectators comfortable.

The Grand Prix start list may have only had 13 combinations listed, however it was a field full of class. The 2016 Australian World Cup Series winner, Clint Beresford, was there, along with the 2018 Series winner, Aaron Hadlow. They were joined by the 2019 NSW Senior Champion, Jamie Priestley and the 2019 NSW Junior Champion, Anneliese Wansey...
