Australia’s Lyndal Oatley Debuts Elvive at Big Tour Freestyle for Victory in Randbøl CDI3*

RANDBØL, Denmark, Nov. 13, 2021–Lyndal Oatley debuted Elvive at Big Tour Freestyle Saturday to win the Blue Hors Dressurfestival CDI3* Grand Prix musical performance.

Lyndal and the 12-year-old KWPN mare scored 76.855% in only the fourth Grand Prix competition since beginning Big Tour in May this year with a pair of victories at Grand Prix and the Special. Lyndal, based in Germany with her husband, Patrik Kittel of Sweden and a 2012 and 2016 Olympian on Sandro Boy, opted not to pursue a start at the Tokyo Games in July because of Elvive’s lack of experience.

Denmark’s Anna Kasprzak on Rock Star, 13-year-old Westfalen gelding, scored 75.475% to place second as the pair did in the Grand Prix Friday.
