SYDNEY, Mar. 15, 2022–Australia’s world championship qualifying requirements were announced Monday with all but two of the top scores from nine rider and horse combinations achieved so far by competitors outside the country.

The federation set 69% as the minimum of at least two scores at Grand Prix at DI3* or above required over the period Jan. 1, 2021 to July 4, 2022, one needed this year, to qualify for the team of four for the championships in Herning, Denmark in August.

Kristy Oatley and Du Soleil, the 18-year-old Hanoverian gelding competed at the 2016 Olympics, has fulfilled all the requirements with the highest score of 72.526% of any Aussie combination so far this year as well as three qualifying scores from 2021.

Lyndal Oatley, like her cousin based in Germany, has also completed the requirements on Elvive with the highest score of 73.718% and on Eros is one score away for this year to give her two qualifying mounts.
