Ballarat win marks the return of Peter Moody

Champion trainer Peter Moody wasted no time in his return to the training ranks, reuniting with Black Caviar's regular jockey Luke Nolen to win at Ballarat on Sunday.

It was a far cry from racing at Royal Ascot in front of Her Majesty The Queen, but it was a win nonetheless when even-odds favourite Shepard scored in the benchmark-78, just 10 days after the horse was transferred from David Brideoake into Moody's care.
