Brumby trap yards in Kosciuszko National Park dismantled by activists

Brumby activists have filmed themselves damaging horse trap yards in Kosciuszko National Park used for the park's wild horse management plan.

A video, posted to Facebook, appears to show three people dismantling horse trap yards in the Long Plain section of the park.

Alan Lanyon, vice president of the Snowy Mountains Bush User's Group defended the actions of the activists.

"It's in line with activities undertaken by other groups on a variety of issues to try to bring some common sense to the table," he said.
