Charlotte Dujardin Rides Imhotep to Victory in Wellington Heckfield CDI3* Grand Prix

HECKFIELD, England, June 9, 2022–Charlotte Dujardin rode Imhotep to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday in only the second Big Tour competition for the the nine-year-old.

Charlotte and the KWPN gelding scored 77.761% for the win–five percentage points higher than the horse’s debut CDI Grand Prix three weeks ago–and less than two months to the world championships in Herning, Denmark.

This result gave Charlotte and Imhotep the second of two minimum scores required for the world championships.

Fellow British team rider Gareth Hughes on Classic Briolinca, 16-year-old KWPN mare, was second on 75.913%.

On Sintano van hof Olympia, 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding, Gareth placed third on 72.696%.
