Charlotte Jorst & Nintendo at 19 Wins Wellington CDI3* Grand Prix In 9th Year at Big Tour

WELLINGTON, Florida, Mar. 17, 2022–Charlotte Jorst and 19-year-old Kastel’s Nintendo won the Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday for the third victory so far this year in the ninth year of their Big Tour partnership.

The score for Charlotte of Reno, Nevada and th KWPN stallion of 72.326% kept them in third place on the rankings for American combinations to go to Europe for selection of the U.S. team for the world championships in Herning, Denmark Aug. 5-8.

Alice Tarjan of Oldwick, New Jersey on Serenade MF placed second on 71.348% in only the second CDI Grand Prix for the adult amateur rider and the nine-year-old American-bred Hanoverian mare. Serenade is one of several horses she found as youngsters and is developing for top sport, including Serenade, Donatella and Candescent competing at CDI Grand Prix.

Japan’s Kiichi Harada on Sir Galanto was third on 69.696% and a result to qualify the duo for the world championships.
