Dorothee Schneider & First Romance Win Wiesbaden CDI4* Grand Prix Special on Personal Best Score

WIESBADEN. Germany, June 6–Dorothee Schneider and First Romance posted a personal best score to win the Grand Prix Special Monday to log a double victory.

Dorothee and the 12-year-old Baden-Württemberg gelding scored 74.936% for the win in the eighth start since beginning Big Tour last September .

Isabell Werth and Superb placed second on 74.468% in the sixth Big Tour start for the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare.

Nicole Wego-Engelmeyer on Saphira Royal, in the first Big Tour competition for the pair, were third on 73.809% for a German sweep of the top three places.

USA’s Jan Ebeling on Bellena tied with Laurence Vanommeslaghe of Belgium on Havalon for equal fifth place on 71.745%.
