Victorian jockey Jessie Philpot says she is still coming to terms with her history-making win at this year's Darwin Cup.
After winning her last six races, Philpot made it seven wins in a row on Monday, riding Highly Decorated past the finish line to become the first female jockey to win the Cup.
It was also the first time an all-female team of jockey, trainer and owner had won.
"[It's] amazing, hasn't quite sunk in yet. It's been a huge journey."
