Germany Takes Future Champion Young Rider Team Gold, Denmark Silver, Spain Bronze, Junior Team Won by Germany, Denmark Silver, France Bronze

HAGEN, Germany, June 16, 2022–Lucie-Anouk Baumgürtel and ZINQ Hugo FH led Germany to the Future Champions CDIOY Young Riders team title Thursday with Denmark taking silver and Spain bronze. Germany captured the CDIOJ Junior title, Denmark silver and France bronze.

The score for Lucie-Anouk and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding was a personal best 75.980% with scores from two rider and horse combinations counting for the team result. Team mate Helena Schmitz Morkramer on DSP Lifestyle, a 12-year-old German Sport Horse gelding, placed second individually on 74.657%, also a personal best.

Denmark’s top scoring pairs of Sophia Ludvigsen on Blue Hors Elliott, an eight-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, third individually on 73.970%, and Frederikke Gram Jacobsen on Ryvangs Zafina, a 12-year-old Danish Warmblood mare, fourth individually on 73.137% were also personal bests.

Sergio Moron Basoco of Spain on Farnham L, a 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, was fifth individually on 71.618%, also a personal best. Fellow Spanish rider Natalia Bacariza Danguillecourt on Romántico Ymas, a 1`2-year-old Hanoverian stallion, scored 69.167% for seventh individually.
