Hesselhoj Down Town Sold to the Oatley Family

Hesselhoj Down Town, the 2021 World Young Horse Champion and this year's WCYH silver medal winner, has sold to Rosalind Oatley, mom of Australian Olympian Kristy Oatley and grandmom of German junior rider Rose Oatley.

Hesselhoj Down Town is a 6-year old Danish warmblood stallion by Hesselhoj Donkey Boy out of Boogie Woogie (by Blue Hors Zack). He is bred by Dorthe and Hans Jorgen Hoeck.

The bay stallion was first competed by Anders Sjøbeck Hoeck in 2020 after which he sold to Danish horse dealer Andreas Helgstrand;

Under Swedish Jenna Hogberg he won the gold medal at the 2021 World Young Horse Championships in Verden and the 2021 Danish Young Horse Championships.
