Kah: I've found my happy place

Leading jockey Jamie Kah says she has found her happy place again, seven months after her involvement in racing’s COVID-19 protocol breach.

Kah, along with jockeys Mark Zahra, Ben Melham, Ethan Brown and Celine Gaudray, were all handed significant suspensions after breaking COVID-19 protocols after police were called to a party at a Mornington AirBnB while the state was in lockdown.

Kah and the other jockeys involved came under huge pressure from racing and the general public when the news became public.

It was something that weighed heavily on the premiership-winning jockey, who just before was celebrated after becoming the first rider to snare 100 metropolitan victories in a season.

She would be later outed by stewards for three months, missing the entire spring carnival.

Speaking on The Howie Games podcast, Kah said she was now “in a much better place” after struggling with the fallout from her actions.
