Vaguely, languidly, you contemplate picking your way through the sea of bare, winter-whitened legs to the nearest gin bar, but then your attention is diverted by a welcome announcement: William Fox-Pitt has just taken the Houghton CCIO4*-S title. Life feels blissfully, gloriously like it’s 2013 again.
