Jessica Springsteen, the daughter of music icons Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa, became an icon in her own right when she won a silver medal in the equestrian team jumping final at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
It wasn’t just her first medal, but her first Olympics, after she was named an alternate for the 2012 London Olympics. And luck seemed to be on the 29-year-old’s side when she rode atop Don Juan van de Donkhoeve, her 12-year-old stallion, in Tokyo.
