My Lady, Ridden by Mikala Münter for Denmark, Passes–2000-2019

WELLINGTON, Florida, Oct. 31, 2019–My Lady, the Danish Warmblood mare ridden by Mikala Münter for Denmark at championships in Europe and the United States, was put to sleep Wednesday night after sustaining Cushing’s disease.

Born in Denmark in 2000, My Lady (Michellino x Ritterstern) was bought in 2011 by Janne Rumbaugh, a Danish native long-time resident in Florida.

Mikala, based in Wellington, began competing My Lady at international competitions the following year. The pair won 13 of 93 international Grand Prix starts from 2012 to 2017 and the mare was the top money winner for two Global Dressage Festival circuits in a row.

My Lady represented Denmark at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy, the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, Germany and the World Cup Finals in 2014 in Lyon, France and 2015 in Las Vegas.
