Racing NSW to hold horse race in Sydney on same day as Melbourne Cup
Sydney is set to steal some of the Melbourne Cup’s thunder with a brand new event on the same day as the race that stops the nation.
The $2 million race called The Big Dance will reportedly be run at Royal Randwick on the first Tuesday in November.
It’s understood the race will be run after the Melbourne Cup and is designed to allow punters to keep the party going throughout the day.
