Rozzie Ryan & Jarrah R Win Boneo World Cup Freestyle for 7th Victory in 10 Starts in 2019

BONEO, Australia, Sept. 22, 2019–Rozzie Ryan and Jarrah R eked out a win in the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for the seventh victory for the pair in 2019 including the 2019 Pacific League final in January.

Rozzie and the 13-year-old Australian-bred gelding scored 70.795%, just 0.13% ahead of Suzanne Hearn on her 2016 Olympic mount Remmington who was awarded 70.665% for second place. Alycia Targa on CP Dresden was 0.135% further back to place third on 70.530%.

The victory for Rozzie and Jarrah was their seventh in 10 starts this year, including the Grand Prix and the Freestyle at the league final at this same show grounds in January. The rider turned down an invitation to the final in Sweden because of stress on the horse of traveling half-way around the world–including a long road trip–as well as high expenses.

The Final of 18 horses and riders in 2020 will be in Las Vegas in mid-April.
