Westfalian Stallion Future Passed Away

The Dutch owned Westfalian licensed breeding stallion Future has passed away at age 23. He was euthanized on 30 July 2021 as he was suffering from severe arthrosis.

Future was by Florestan out of Angelina (by Apart x Silvaner). He was bred by XX and was a full brother to the licensed stallion Flovino.

Future was the 2000 Westfalian Licensing Champion in Munster-Handorf, where he was discovered and bought by the late Arie Gordijn of Dressage Stable De Ijzeren Man in Weert.

Future was initially trained up to small tour level by Gordijn's son-in-law Sven Rothenberger. He competed him, for instance, in the Prix St Georges at a national home show at the 2005 CDN Weert.
