Winx set to visit Pierro

Champion mare Winx will visit Pierro this season, her ownership group has announced.

The four-time Cox Plate winner was served by super sire I Am Invincible last season, but tragically lost her foal.

In a statement released on Wednesday, connections said she had recovered well from her ordeal and would head to the Coolmore stallion, who stands for $110,000.
