1: Prepared horses.
It’s so important that I get to a show and feel I have prepared my horses appropriately. No point going into a big comp if I’ve not prepared my horses at home with the right amount of work and what I’ve done with their schooling.
2: My Antares saddle.
I won’t get far from the truck without it.
3: Good support crew.
Managing a team of jumping horses, my clients and my darling threenager daughter Lucy, it’s very important I’m organised to have the best support crew ready to go. And a very patient husband. For me to concentrate on the horses properly, it’s important that the people around me are there to help. I’m very blessed to have such a wonderful crew of people around me.
4: Ice boots.
All horses get iced after they jump. I can never stress how important this is as management for jumping horses.
5: Equissage.
My horses really benefit from their Equissage at shows. Especially after a big trip on the truck.
6: My FatMax tack box.
This must-have is full of essential items ranging from spurs and bits to duct tape and cable ties!
7: My lucky whip.
I bought it when I was in America on my honeymoon.
8: Baby wipes.
An endless supply of these bad boys - they will and can clean everything.
9: Coffee.
1O: Carrots.
Leroy’s favourite snack.
