Dutch Duo Mara De Vries & Habibi Win Hagen’s Horses & Dreams St. Georges

HAGEN, Germany, July 16, 2020–Mara De Vries rode Habibi Dvb to victory Thursday in the CDI1* Prix St. Georges, the first Small Tour competition for the Dutch combination.

Mara and the eight-year-old KWPN gelding (Don Schufro x Johnson TN) scored 72.647% in the opening competition of the Horse & Dreams event that was in an abbreviated format after being delayed for almost four months because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The duo had competed in the 2018 and 2019 World Young Horse Championships.

Gemany’s Ann-Kathrin Lindnet and FBW Lord of Dance placed second on 72.108% with David Taylor on Don Henry third on 71.324%.
