Isabell Werth on DSP Quantaz Win Den Bosch World Cup Grand Prix, Britain’s Charlotte “Lottie” Fry on Everdale 2nd

‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, Mar. 7, 2024–Isabell Werth on DSP Quantaz won the CDI-W Grand Prix Thursday in Western Europe’s wrap-up competition for the World Cup that will be the 25th Final for the German superstar. Britain’s Charlotte “Lottie” Fry on Everdale was runner-up.

Isabell, the most successful Olympic equestrian in history, rode the 14-year-old German Sport Horse gelding to a score of 75.782%. While the rider, who has won the World Cup title five times, will compete in the Freestyle Saturday to earn points, her two victories and a second place finish this season has already earned her 57 points and certain to receive an invitation to the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Final next month.

Lottie Fry on Everdale, the 15-year-old KWPN stallion which she rode on Britain’s Tokyo Olympic bronze medal team and for team silver at the 2021 European Championships just weeks later, was runner-up on 74.152%. Four of the five judges placed the pair second while one put them third.
