Photographer hurt in accident

Racing photographer Pat Healy is recovering in hospital after being knocked over in a freak accident at Ireland's Navan racecourse on Sunday.

Entoucas and Thatsy fought out the finish of a maiden hurdle over 4000 metres with Thatsy shading Entoucas by a neck on the line.

Entoucas then crashed through the inside running rail, colliding with Healy who stood five metres past the winning post.

Healy received medical treatment on course before being taken by ambulance 45km away to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown in Dublin.
