Queensland girl, 10, in coma after falling from horse

Abbie Sweeper has loved horses for as long as she can remember, now she is fighting for life after a “heartbreaking” accident.

A ten-year-old girl is in an induced coma after falling from her horse at an equestrian event in Queensland’s Lockyer Valley Region.

Abbie Sweeper from Plainland was taking part in the Laidley and District Pony Club Gymkhana on Sunday when she received horrific injuries from the fall.
