USA’s Taylor Rowsey Sanctioned for Prohibited Substance Gabapentin Found in Horse Demetrios

Taylor Rowsey, an American dressage rider and trainer, has received an administrative sanction after the prohibited substance Gabapentin was found in her horse Demetrios at the CDI1* in Thermal, California in November.

The case of the 33-year-old rider based in San Diego, California was reported on the FEI table of administrative sanctions.

Demetrios is a nine-year-old Rhinelander gelding that was being competed at international level for the first time at Small Tour in the Thermal CDI1* Nov. 12-15.
