Vale Ned Walker

The South Australian racing industry has been rocked by the tragic weekend road accident in the state's south-east which claimed the lives of Millicent horse trainer Ned Walker, his wife Nan and their daughter Sue.

The three were killed when their Ford Territory collided head on with a Toyota Landcruiser at Suttontown on the outskirts of Mount Gambier early on Saturday afternoon.

Five other people, who were occupants of the other vehicle, were injured in the crash, and the 16-year-old driver is now facing charges relating to causing death by dangerous driving.

Tributes continue to pour in for the Walkers from not only the south-east community but all parts of the state and across the border.
