There was plenty of Imperial blood flowing through the veins of the Welsh Mountain Pony exhibits today. And Mark Bullen, principle of the Imperial Stud led his beautiful Two Year Old Filly, 'Imperial Baled' (Imperial Caruso/Trentlyn Bianca) to take out the Welsh Mountain Pony Mare/Filly Championship.

Steve Paris did the honours with his own and Gordon Ball's 'Alcheringa Paris' (Carlyle Pocket/Penyghent Vienna) that won the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Stallion, Four Years and Over.

Popular exhibitor, Daniel Harvey led his own, Eagle Park and Mathew McDougall's 'Imperial Nevada' (Imperial Lookout/Imperial Nell) to win the class for Welsh Mountain Pony Colt Three Years, claim the Stallion/Colt Champion and go on to take out the Supreme Welsh Mountain Pony award. Michael Christie is seriously on a role with Caroline Kuhn's beautiful Galloway, 'Mirinda Eyeliner'. The mare won the Open Lightweight 14.2-15hh and went on to claim the Galloway Championship. Eyeliner has now won top Galloway honours at,Adelaide and Melbourne in  2009 and Canberra and Sydney so far in 2010.

Ros Lip is no stranger to beautiful horses. She did after all produce Trent Nathan and WS Black Label. Ros gave notice that she has another at Canberra Royal a few weeks ago and confirmed the fact at Sydney today.She won the Novice Over 16.2hh class earlier in the show and won the Colonel AV Pope Cup this morning, and this afternoon claimed the Sydney Royal Hack Championship with her Clang gelding 'Kholo'.
