Later in the day this combination took out The H B and A G Haydon Memorial Perpetual Trophy, donated by Mrs Jill Grant, for the Champion Ridden Australian Saddle Pony.

Rose McEvoy kept up the Victorian Turnout standards by winning the Mount/Rider and Equipment class for Riders 12-15 Years. Rose rode Margot Haynes'  'Grazier' to produce a super workout. It was however trumped by their beautiful workout in the class for Open Hack 16-16.2hh, complete with perfect flying change.  They won the applause meter and were just out of the money in a strong field.

Today he won the award for Best Thoroughbred Exhibit and is pictured with L-R, Maryann O'Shea, award sponsor, Rebecca Brown from Hillview Thoroughbreds and judge and former Gold Medal Olympian, Neale Lavis.
